Fertility Status
A woman's ability to conceive and
then enjoy a normal pregnancy is dependent upon several factors. One of these is
hormonal balance. Two of the essential hormones which must be available to the body
to maintain a pregnancy are progesterone and thyroid. A deficiency of either of
these can lead to a host of symptoms, including miscarriages and difficulty with
conception.
This questionnaire lists symptoms
and other factors most commonly found in women suffering from a deficiency in progesterone
and/or thyroid hormones. Read each question carefully and check the box if it applies
to you. When you finish, the form will automatically calculate your score.
- < 5 — It is not likely that you have low progesterone and/or
low thyroid
- 6-20 — Possibility of low progesterone and/or low thyroid
- 21-40 — Low progesterone and/or low thyroid are probable
- > 40 — Low progesterone and/or low thyroid are very likely
